OW Developers Update (Nov 1, 2024)

We’re excited to share the latest updates and fixes to make your experience on Otakus.World even better. As a social media platform where you can express your inner otaku, we’re constantly working to improve and fine-tune your journey. Here's what we’ve fixed in this update:

Bug Fixes

  • Audio Upload & Sharing: Resolved an issue where audio uploads and voice messages couldn’t be sent from the chat system if disabled from the admin panel.
  • Featured Posts Privileges: Fixed the "featured post" privilege being granted to Pro members when the feature was disabled.
  • Audience Selection in Ads: Resolved the "nothing selected" message when no audience was chosen while creating an advertisement.
  • Image Rotation: Fixed improper image rotation during uploads.
  • Friend Timeline Posts: Fixed issues preventing users from posting to a friend's timeline.
  • Event System: Resolved the non-functioning "load more" button on the "pastevent" page.
  • Monetization Settings: Disabling monetization now properly removes the subscription link from the user dropdown menu.
  • Blog Editing: Fixed deletion of special characters like "é," "á," "í," "ó" during blog edits.
  • Market Decimal Points: Corrected the decimal point display for commodity amounts.
  • .docx Uploads: Fixed intermittent issues with uploading .docx files.
  • Transaction Errors: Canceling a transaction now correctly redirects to the wallet page instead of the "Oops" page.
  • Reels Comments: Fixed issues where comments on reels weren’t visible.
  • Reels Attribution: Resolved an issue where the creator’s name wasn’t displayed while viewing reels.
  • Reels Load More: Fixed the "load more" button for reels on user profiles.
  • API Issues: Addressed over 10 API-related bugs.
  • Minor Bugs: Fixed 34 other minor issues across the platform in both code and design.
